Motion Youth Ministries’ mission is the same as the mission of our church: To be an intergenerational faith community and to accept Christ’s Great Commission as our mission. Our youth share fully in the life of our church, participating in the praise team, acting as ushers, and taking part in special services throughout the year. It is our hope that everyone involved in our youth ministry moves closer to Christ, wherever they are on their journey.
Youth in sixth through twelfth grade engage with the church during a youth Sunday school on Sunday mornings, regular Wednesday evening youth worship services, and LOCOmotion events once a month. LOCOmotion events may be any of a variety of ways to connect, from lock-ins to service projects. Youth also connect with the church outside Norman through participation Southwest Oklahoma District events and Nazarene Youth International.
